Lars Lobbedey

Dr. Lars Lobbedey is a state-certified food chemist. For more than 28 years, he has worked in various testing companies as laboratory manager, business development manager, sales manager and managing director.
Starting with vitamin analysis, Dr. Lars Lobbedey and his team built up the Healthfood segment at SGS Institut Fresenius in 2005. Since then, laboratory testing and regulatory consulting for the food supplement industry have been offered from a single source in Germany and beyond. Since 2024, he has been responsible for the development of SGS’s testing spectrum in the areas of Healthfood, Dairy, Petfood and Confectionary on a global level.
